We also provide fans in Toronto with incredible live music and entertainment events, as well as exceptional culinary experiences through our restaurants (e11even and RS) and clubs (Hot Stove Club, ScotiaClub and Platinum Club). As a valuable member of the Event Personnel team, you will be responsible for the delivery of staff leadership and elevated customer service at both the Scotiabank Arena and BMO Field. We are looking for an outgoing, diplomatic and self-motivated team member with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who embody our visions and values and strives for excellence on a daily basis.
- Lead by example and provide ongoing coaching/training/motivation to the Event Personnel team.
- Provide friendly and informed response to any service-related issue/inquiry.
- Communicate positively and professionally with staff and fans.
- Conduct event briefings.
- Determine and implement effective team deployment.
- Document for follow up, all incidents/concerns.
- Assist with other administrative functions including employee performance reviews.
- Ensure adherence by fans and employees to MLSE policies and procedures including Health & Safety.
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Other duties as the need arises.
**Qualifications**:
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays both indoors and outdoors
- Previous employee supervisory experience, preferably in event personnel management or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with the City of Toronto and its tourist attractions
- Valid Smart Serve Certification is required
- Standard First Aid with CPR B or higher + AED is required
