**Job Position Description**

**Position Title**:Program Manager

**Supervisor**:Executive Director

**Full or Part-time**:Full-time (35 hours)

**Supervises**:Program Facilitators, High-School and College Placement Students, Summer Program Staff

**Purpose of Position**: To manage the Program Team and assist the Executive Director in taking Girls Inc to the next level using program curricula and data management, strategic planning, and organizational development tactics

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Program Management**:

- Coordinate and deliver multi-faceted programs with an ability to review, revise, design, and enhance program curriculum.
- Enthusiasm for youth development work and in-field service work
- Demonstrated ability to learn and quickly integrate new and responsive approaches, evolving technologies and software, diverse program components, and other operational changes
- Strong project management skills, including developing timelines, scheduling effectively, tracking outputs, and working successfully to complete key deliverables and meet deadlines
- Schedule, supervise, lead, motivate, and coordinate program staff and volunteers.
- Empower, inspire, and encourage staff and program participants; foster participation in program planning, problem solving and decision-making
- Use a collaborative, inclusive, and agile work style, dedicated to ensuring that organizational and team goals are met
- Ensures that program outcomes are appropriate, progressing, and tracked
- Collects outcomes data, works with program staff to improve outcomes, provides input about outcomes program for use in program staff evaluations and reports results to the Executive Director
- Schedules outreach and assists program staff in coordinating outreach
- Seeks opportunities to work with other entities including schools, other youth serving organizations, etc., to deliver Girls Inc outreach programming

**Data Management**:

- Collect accurate data required to satisfy daily operations, reporting needs, and impact assessment
- Oversee administration of programs, including tracking and reporting, program recruitment and development efforts, outcomes, participant attendance, and feedback
- Manage participant data in an ethical and confidential manner
- Manage data reporting across the affiliate, Girls Inc. National, and other stakeholders (e.g., Board, funders); create reports as requested for both internal and external stakeholders
- Provide cross training for staff to ensure adequate coverage of vital data collection, entry, and reporting needs
- Regularly assess data quality and ensure policies that maximize data quality are in place and followed
- Manage and facilitate data analysis; proactively seek to identify areas for improvement in data collection and use
- Work with leadership to manage, the translation and regular dissemination of data (knowledge management)

**Fund Development &Stewardship**:

- Assist in planning and executing high-impact events showcasing Girls Inc., programs, and participants
- Process all gifts and acknowledge donors with receipt and appropriate stewardship
- Prepare receipts for applicable Cash and Gift In Kind donations; record donation details in database
- Develop and execute a comprehensive communication and advocacy plan for stakeholders such as donors, community partners, and volunteers including newsletters, social media, direct mail, etc.
- Stimulate interest and enthusiasm within the community for agency activities by maintaining consistent communication with all stakeholders (e.g., reminding parents, schools, and community partners about upcoming events, registrations, classes, field trips, etc.); create and maintain the organization calendar including website updates and management
- Recruit, train, coordinate and steward volunteers
- Keep records associated with various media platforms and for tracking media coverage
- Develop funding and awareness opportunities that strategically and positively affect Girls Inc., now, and in the future

- Live the mission of Girls Inc.; setting an example of intersectional feminist Strong, Smart and Bold for all staff, volunteers, Board members and the community
- Advocate for gender equity and embracing, celebrating, and advancing anti-racism, anti-oppression, inclusion, belonging, and diversity in all interactions
- Participate in staff meetings and works cooperatively with other staff to meet Girls Incorporated’s goals and objectives
- Serve as an agency representative to relevant membership associations and external groups.
- Participate in a periodic assessment of the PM’s own performance and develops and continually refine the PM work plan (goals and objectives)
