**Details of the Position**

The Group Mentoring Program Facilitator will work within the framework of the National Standards set out by BBBS Canada to collaborate with agency volunteers in order to facilitate curriculum-based group mentoring programming in schools across Leeds and Grenville. The Group Mentoring Program Facilitator will also be responsible for planning and facilitating community based group mentoring programs, including Big Bunch, Teen Drop-In and summer programming.

**Responsibilities/Duties**
- Facilitate staff led in-school group mentoring programs and community-based group mentoring programs under the direction of the Executive Director, in collaboration with the BBBSLG program team;
- Engage with and supervise volunteers in the facilitation of group programming;
- Purchase and track required materials as required to conduct agency programs;
- Liaise with site-based partners and community organizations to create and maintain partnerships and volunteers that address the needs of children and caregivers and the mentoring programs associated with BBBSLG;

**Qualifications**:
- A minimum 2-year post-secondary diploma with related work experience (required) or a bachelor’s degree in social sciences or humanities (eg. Social or human services, child and youth work, education, family studies, etc.)
- Experience with facilitating group programming, and experience working with and providing support to children and families
- Experience working with a diverse client and volunteer base, knowledgeable about child and adolescent development
- Strong ability to self-reflect and adapt approaches and behaviour in real-time to match the shifting demands of the situation
- Experience working with a case management database is an asset
- The ability to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- A valid Ontario Driver’s license in good standing, access to a reliable vehicle, and appropriate insurance
