**About Heritage Pointe**

Heritage Pointe is a premium 27 hole golf facility located just South of Calgary off of Deerfoot Trail. We offer a multi-faceted Food and Beverage operation with a reputation for exceptional dining and social experiences. Our clubhouse and main dining area can seat up to 240 people and serves as the hub for our daily in house dining option for members and guests. We also have a separate private board room meeting space, a stunning patio and the Crossover Grill, our on-course food operation. We cater to daily food and beverage needs, an extensive Corporate Tournament schedule and a growing wedding and event business.

**Position** **Overview**

The Food and Manager is responsible for ensuring exceptional employee and guest experiences. Leading the team responsible for the execution of the service side of the Food and Beverage department, this position works closely with the rest of the management team and the heads of each department to ensure standards are met and exceeded at every possible opportunity.

Supporting the day-to-day operation of the business; including all food & beverage areas. The Manager will help lead our people & culture, including hiring, training, coaching and retention. The Food and Beverage Manager also has responsibilities as it relates to operating the business (opening/closing, management shifts, inventory management, scheduling, facilities and profit and loss accountability). Weddings and tournaments will also be at the forefront of our business with the goal to impress every guest with an incredible and professional experience.

**Responsibilities**

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Ensure flawless execution to deliver an exceptional experience to our guests
- Hire, train and coach all staff related to F&B front of house operations
- Ensure quality of food and beverage product being delivered to guests
- Work closely with our Head Chef and culinary team to ensure flawless execution
- Work closely with leadership team to ensure facility is well maintained and clean at all times, both front of house and back of house
- Oversee execution of weddings, tournaments, and other events.
- Ensure effective communication between Operations, Facilities, Culinary and F&B teams
- Establish and manage key vendor relationships
- Ownership of inventory, ordering and receiving of all F&B items and supplies
- P&L responsibility for achieving Sales and Cost of Sales targets
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting along with commentary and insights
- Participate in ongoing menu development
- Ensure a safe environment for employees, guests and staff
- Role modeling standards and procedures, provide additional support where needed to ensure a flawless guest experience (checking guests in and out, taking orders running food or drinks, bussing - whatever is needed)
- Share best practices with senior leaders and across departments to improve the guest experience
- Support and maintain a positive work culture, including interdepartmental culture
- Monitor and mentor hospitality staff, encouraging growth and development

**Requirements**:

- 3 - 5+ years of leadership experience in high volume, high pressure facilities
- Post-secondary education in business or hospitality is considered an asset
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Focused on continuous improvement in all areas
- Ability to offer constructive feedback across all levels of employees
- A mature individual who creates a best-in-class work environment
- Weekend and holiday availability is a must
- ProServe Certified
