**Title**: Executive Assistant
**Salary**: $70,677 - $88,399 - $97,239 per year (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: 37.5 Hours per week (8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday)
**Location**: 100 Park Royal South, West Vancouver. Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, after October 2024.

**About the role**
This role is an exciting opportunity to support a Senior Executive in an expansive department, which will require good networking and organizational skills. The Executive Assistant provides executive level administration to the VP of Policy, Planning and Strategic Services (PPSS). The Executive Assistant demonstrates a high degree of professionalism, initiative and independence, as well as the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes and shifting deadlines. The position requires meticulous tracking and follow-up on various action items and ensures the completion of the assignment or task in a timely manner on behalf of the VP of PPSS. Flexibility, responsiveness and rapid availability are essential.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:

- A diploma in business/office administration, plus 4 to 6 years of progressively responsible administrative experience, including support at VP level, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Experience in a senior administration capacity, supporting VP level or higher positions; working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- working with Senior and Executive level management; responding to client/public enquiries and complaints; handling sensitive and confidential information and matters in a trusted and responsible manner; developing and maintain administrative systems, processes and procedures
- Experience working with BC First Nations communities and/or organizations
- Knowledge of the FNHA, and its structure and inter-dependencies, and of information, records and data management approaches and options

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level.

As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.
