**Summary**: Working under the direction of the Director SaaS, the Database Administrator will work on maintaining existing databases, technical administrative tasks, new client installations and changes as well as assigned projects and subprojects in conjunction with the current DBA. The duties and responsibilities of this position may evolve over time. This is a full time position.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science required
- Solid PowerShell and/or scripting skills required
- Proficiency with DML/DDL database languages such as T-SQL
- Working knowledge of Windows 2019 servers OS
- Experience as a database administrator in MS 2016-2019 SQL Server environment preferred
- SSRS reports development experience preferred
- Knowledge of and experience with installation, configuration management, maintenance, security, back-up and recovery procedures for relational database management systems
- Analytical mindset and attention to details
- Ability to operate in a fast paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication

**Key Responsibilities**:
The duties for this position will also include, but are not limited to, the following areas:

- Ensure availability, security and performance of all client data and new client installations in the in the SaaS Production environment.
- Manage preparation and running of scripts and deployment of software releases and upgrades.
- Update the database schema and add/modify data as required.
- Creating shell and SQL scripts for database administration and deploy automation.
- Maintain data standards in test and production databases
- Maintain documentation and special information as required
- Ensure that client data is backed up regularly in accordance with commitments to clients, and test the backup restoration process to ensure that restore works
- Ensure that sensitive data are handled in an appropriate manner to ensure confidentiality and integrity
- Ensure that changes within the SaaS environment are made with proper authorization in accordance with change management policy and procedure
- Be familiar with disaster recovery plans and be able to implement these plans, if required
- Investigate data issues and correct/modify data as necessary with proper authorizations
- Use company standard systems/tools to handle information processing, sharing and communications.
- On an as-assigned basis be prepared to work or be on-call outside regular work hours to perform routine, system maintenance and to restore normal operations so clients can work with minimized downtime

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:

- Microsoft SQL Server: 1 year (preferred)
