We provide our customers with quality products and top service to keep them riding their snowmobiles, ATVs, motorcycles, dirt bikes and more. Royal Distributing is looking for a proactive and tech-savvy Junior Application Support Technician to assist with the daily operations of our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. This entry-level role is crucial for maintaining the smooth execution of our IT infrastructure by handling support tickets, and managing data imports and exports. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Microsoft SQL and Excel, and a keen interest in developing their technical troubleshooting skills.
System Support: Respond to daily support requests regarding our WMS and ERP systems. Use the ticketing system effectively to track and resolve issues, ensuring all support activities are logged and monitored.
- Data Management: Perform regular data imports and exports as required by the business teams. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all transactions and reports.
- Maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions to assist with future troubleshooting efforts. Update system documentation and help guides as needed.
- User Assistance and Training: Assist in training users on new systems and updates. Educational Background: Degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Microsoft SQL and Excel: Strong experience with Microsoft SQL for database management and advanced proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and report generation.
- Experience with Ticketing Systems: Familiarity with using ticketing systems to manage, prioritize, and resolve support requests.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment, adhering to deadlines.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and software updates.
This is a full-time position scheduled from Monday to Friday, may be needed outside regular business hours when required
- This position is located at our head office in Guelph, Ontario, can be a hybrid working arrangement
