**Job Title: Category Transformation Manager - MRO**

**ROLE OVERVIEW**:

- **Location**: Hybrid, Tiverton, ON
- **Travel**: Must be able and willing to travel to Tiverton, Ontario, and surrounding area, as needed

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, logistics, or in a related field.
- Or a master’s degree in business or specialization in advanced procurement management will be advantageous.
- At least five years' procurement and sourcing experience in a related industry.
- Proficient and knowledgeable with a disciplined strategic sourcing process including cost modeling, market analysis, supplier profiling and delivering comprehensive MRO business strategies.
- Proficient and knowledgeable in all aspects of the MRO Category including electrical, consumables, safety and PVF, amongst others.
- Proficiency in sourcing software, such Fraxion Spend Management and Promena e-Sourcing.
- Advanced ability to collaborate and negotiate.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Assists in developing methodologies and performing strategic Demand Forecasting for all Service requirements between all major business groups within organization to segment spend and identify opportunities for service aggregation and supplier rationalization aimed to create “best value” through innovative ideas and solutions.
- Evaluate, and recommend new warehousing and distribution technologies in an effort to maximize overall efficiency and move towards establishing a green warehousing environment, in accordance with Corporate and Divisional objectives. Carry out implementation as approved.
- Having knowledge of change management principles and methods to lead the planning, design, development and delivery of major division and inter-division change management initiatives.
- Collaborate with purchasing groups as well as suppliers to optimize the overall effectiveness and efficiency of equipment and materials procurement and to ensure the end users equipment and materials availability requirements are being met.
- Develop and recommend alternatives when suppliers are unable to meet equipment and materials availability requirements. Assess suppliers’ performance with regard to adequacy and timeliness of equipment and materials delivered (and provide input to purchasing groups).
- Optimize inventory levels to provide maximum availability and utility of equipment and materials and to minimize risk and overall cost to the Company.
- Willingness to travel to develop, promote, and maintain key supplier relationships.
- Negotiates for selected strategic, high/low-risk services and/or materials or asset disposal transactions.
- Identifies innovative links to and/or impacts to the business and structure value-add total cost partnering strategies through multiyear relationships that are measurable by positively impacting: safety, availability, risk reduction, price, security of supply, life cycle, and process efficiencies.
- General administrative tasks: management and follow-up on current projects/tasks and data entry.

**ENGAGEMENT SPECIFICATIONS**:

- Typical workweek is 40 hours a week with additional hours to sustain schedule, (this is a Mega Project Environment), Monday through Friday.
- Some roles may require travel to visit supplier locations when travel is permitted.
- Mileage and expenses reimbursed for business-related travel.
- Must be willing and able to pass strict and high-level security background screening.

**Pre-engagement Requirements**:

- All employees and contractors selected to work with Bruce Power will be required to complete and successfully receive Level 1 Security Clearance through the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS). This involves a comprehensive background screening and providing detailed supporting documentations for the last five years of history on all employment, self-employment, gaps of employment, places/countries of residence, international travels, and character references.
