**Description**
- Representing Strategic Way Consulting, this assignment is at our Client location situated on the Lake Huron shoreline between Kincardine and Saugeen Shores. We are looking for a detail-oriented, methodical, technically inclined and collaborative Mechanical Maintenance Professional to join our growing team. Working in a dynamic and fast pace environment this individual will be required to be responsive, take initiative, manage multiple priorities and work with mínimal direction. Leveraging strong communication and stakeholder management skills, this individual will be responsible to assist our client in ensuring maintenance work readiness and maximizing utilization of available resources during execution in upcoming outages.**Assignment Details**
- Responsible for work plan preparation to ensure that there is enough ready work to maximize all available resources during execution.
- Communicate all schedule changes to the applicable client Work Week Lead (WWL), while also providing required reason codes to client Cost and Scheduling Technicians to properly document all schedule changes
- Regularly interface with client Front Line Managers (FLMs) to:

- Understand the current status work (progress, risks and opportunities);
- Challenge and support the FLMs to ensure all work is completed as scheduled
- Assist FLM in establishing priorities - Emergent/Outage/Online
- Ensure the FLMs have a known and healthy supply of ready work available to fill any downtime (Minor Maintenance, Spares, etc.)
- Review Plan Of the Day (POD) with FLMs, provide feedback to client Section Manager and communicate any at risk items to WWL
- Regular attendance at client Station Look Ahead Meeting (SLAM) and accountability to provide:

- Any required SLAM mark ups (including new schedule dates if required) prior to any required reporting meetings
- Accurate report outs at the SLAM
- Regularly interface with client Section Manager; including:

- Providing POD feedback
- Providing information required for weekly station PAR meeting(s)
- Identify gaps in scheduled resource loading vs available tempus limits and escalate to Section Manager if gaps are not being filled with ready work
- Ensure any escalations are completed to appropriate groups and Section Manager to remove issues and roadblocks impacting work readiness and execution
- Act as the execution SPOC for client Mechanical Maintenance team - providing answers to questions/challenges regarding the teams maintenance execution
- Act as the SPOC interfacing with the Emergent Work Team
- On a weekly basis, ensure all outage prerequisites are being completed as per schedule prior to the outage
- Perform post execution lessons learned and adjust the scheduled hours for Preventative Maintenance work orders to accurately reflect the work based on past performance and feedback from Union Team Lead.
- Ensure Work Order adjustments are made to the Model Work Order and/or communicated to assessing via PMCR’s
- Review and update crew resource limits
- Review and attend T-Week planning meetings and compete required actions in accordance with client work management planning processes
- Ensure required logic or sequence changes are incorporated into plan as per client planning process
- Provide mark ups to ensure the plan is fully executable taking into consideration task schedule grading
- Prioritize client team’s backlogs for the Emergent Work team to make “ready”

**Experience & Qualifications**
- Minimum 5-8 years in a similar role
- Must be well organized and possess good written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Sound working knowledge of Maximo ERP software and Primavera P6
- Experience and understanding in the areas of Operations, Mechanical and/or Electrical Maintenance considered an asset.
- Working understanding of MS Office (Excel, Access, Project, Word, etc.)
- Nuclear experience is considered an asset.
- Site Security Clearance at Bruce power is considered an asset.

**Education**
- Degree or diploma in the area of Mechanical Maintenance. Engineering, Technical Discipline, Project Management/Coordination or similar
