We are a **growing** Design, Engineering & Manufacturing company based in South Surrey, with clients across North America. Our 40-person team manufactures everything from one-off products for the entertainment industry to high volume products, proprietary or not, that we market through distribution channels and end users in a variety of industries.
- We are actively seeking a motivated and energetic _**Logistics Coordinator. **_In this role you will primarily work to ensure smooth and efficient operations in our manufacturing facility by managing the flow of materials and products to and from our production centres and to our customers.

The ideal individual has experience with material handling, is an expert forklift operator, is comfortable with lifting medium to heavier loads by hand, is experienced with data management systems, and has experience quoting and booking shipments with external shipping departments and their carriers with a high degree of professionalism.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Material Handling & Packaging_
- Operate a forklift (counterbalance and reach) in a safe manner to move product indoor or an outdoor environment
- Load and unload trucks - flat bed, dry van, courier, etc.
- Package products for shipment and ensure that product is packaged so that it will arrive at its destination undamaged
- Receive materials, ensuring accurate storage placement and labeling
- Provide molds and other equipment to production workstations and return to storage once job is complete
- Documentation & Inventory Control_
- Process documentation in a timely manner, ensuring all paperwork including TDG and WHMIS forms are created accurately and all data is properly entered into company systems using MRP and other data processing tools
- Create and submit customs documents
- Log and track inbound and outbound freight
- Maintain and update inventory cycle counts on an ongoing basis and assist with the completion of year-end inventory
- Match incoming and outgoing product with purchase orders
- General_
- Processing returns (RMA) if needed
- Maintain relationships with shipping companies, get quotes and facilitate the booking of shipments when needed
- Lift/carry product according to documented procedures (must be able to lift weights 50 lbs.)
- Follow current standards and procedures

**Key Competencies**
- 2+ years’ experience as shipper/receiver in manufacturing setting.
- Ability to operate forklift, pallet jacks in indoor and outdoor environment. Valid forklift license is required.
- Excellent data entry and data management/reconciliation abilities, with excellent general computer skills. Experience with MRP software, MS Office, Database/Inventory control software and Monitoring and tracking software preferred.
- Ability to learn and adapt to multiple data, information and lookup systems used by different vendors
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
