Psychologist, Social Worker or Counselors, Part

This is a wonderful opportunity for Calgary or Edmonton based therapists to work one week a month in a community in Northern Alberta. Seeking registered psychologists or independently licensed clinicians for a variety of part time positions that require fairly specialized skills and flexibility.
This is potentially a four year contract, and requires a commitment to work and travel out of town for one week a month.
Looking for people who are relatively seasoned clinicians who have experience doing trauma work as well as work with sexual abuse. Experience with an indigenous population is a plus. Kid and adult clinicians both required. Assessment, play therapy and family therapy are important skills to have as well.
This is for an indigenous community in northern Alberta, who are navigating incredible trauma. Looking for folks who don’t mind roughing it a bit, the roads are gravel, though the living accommodations are great, and who can take an active and sensitive approach to engaging in treatment with a beautiful community of people.
The compensation is generous, and funding is not through NIHB.
- Master's or Doctorate in Psychology
- Master's level in Social Work or Counseling
- Must be at Independently Registered or Licensed
- Relatively seasoned clinicians who have experience doing trauma work as well as work with sexual abuse. Experience with an indigenous population is a plus.
- Assessment, play therapy and family therapy are important skills to have as well.
- Both child and adult clinicians required.
- The position is for one week a month, in Northern Alberta, and requires a commitment to travel out of town for that week

**Salary**: $220.00-$275.00 per hour
