Children's Autism Services is seeking a psychologist for our dynamic and growing organization. Children’s Autism Services is a leader in autism diagnostic assessment. The assessment team is comprised of other psychologists, speech
- language pathologists, occupational therapists, and social workers who have extensive experience in autism and diagnostic assessment We also provide in-home and school consultations to meet the needs of families and children who have autism and other developmental disorders.

As psychologist working with our organization, you may be providing:

- Assessment as part of our multi-disciplinary Autism Diagnostic Team
- Cognitive, psychoeducational and social-emotional assessments
- Service primarily to children but some adult assessments may also be scheduled dependent on your comfort level and experience
- Direct intervention and counseling to children and families who are impacted by grief, anxiety, trauma and/or mental health
- Safety and risk assessments for caregivers that are demonstrating signs of crisis
- Facilitating sibling groups
- Supervision and mentorship to provisional psychologists

To apply, you must have:

- Registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists
- Training and experience with common diagnostic tools used in autism assessments such as the ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale - 2 Edition
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Passion and commitment for working with children and their families
- Prior knowledge and experience with autism is considered an asset.
- Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector and Child Intervention are required
