Construction Management Representative

Connex Personnel is currently seeking a Construction Management Representative (CMR) to support an upcoming project in Churchill Falls, NL. The scope of work involves supervision of Contractors and Sub
- contractors as they complete Capital Work scopes related to various equipment in Churchill Falls (i.e. Disconnect and CT Replacement). Projects to be completed under this Program may include, but are not limited to the following:
1) Replacement of 13.8kV Cabling

2) Replacement of 1 - 230kV Manual Disconnect

3) Replacement of 4 - 735kV CTs

4) Replacement of 3 - 230kV CTs

5) Replacement of 6 - 735kV CVTs

6) Replacement of 735kV Expansion Joint

The work is expected to begin May 01 and conclude in October, 2023. Mobilization dates for Contractors are to be confirmed. CMR will be required on site for Contractor mobilization. CMR will be required to complete rotations in alignment with Contractor rotations. Contractor generally works 7am - 5pm.

CMR will be required to submit daily reports, complete with pictures, for each active project. As well, CMR will be responsible to complete all required documentation related to PCB testing, disposal and transport. CMR to complete project, environmental and safety documentation, as required.
- Previous experience in Churchill Falls is an asset;
- High regard for and commitment to Safety is of utmost importance;
- CMR will act as liaison between Contractor and Plant, as required (i.e. communication with resources such as Electrical Shop, Fire and Security (Confined Space Entry), Line Crew, Warehouse, etc.);
- CMR must facilitate and adhere to Change Management process throughout the course of the Program;
- CMRs are required to have certifications for the following standard training:
First Aid, PowerLine Hazards and WHMIS;
- Accommodations provided for CMR while on site.
- CMR will require cell phone and laptop (not provided).
