**Job Title: Vice President Operations**

**Responsibilities**:
1. Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing operation, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met.

2. Oversee all sales and marketing activity liaising with clients, the internal estimating team, marketing coordinator, field sales personnel and project management.

3. Review month end financials and job cost analysis to evaluate overruns, and individual project reviews.

4. Manage and direct the Quality department and evaluate root cause analysis for monthly non conformances.

5. Annual evaluations of all administrative staff.

6. Manage and lead a team of machinists, operators, and support staff, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.

7. Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.

8. Monitor and analyze machine shop performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

9. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure effective communication and alignment on production requirements.

10. Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a secure working environment for all employees.

11. Manage inventory levels of raw materials, tools, and finished products to meet production goals while minimizing waste.

12. Evaluate and recommend machinery upgrades or replacements to enhance productivity and efficiency.

13. Conduct regular performance reviews for machine shop staff, providing constructive feedback and facilitating professional development.

14. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and efficiency enhancements in machine shop processes.

15. Collaborate with procurement to negotiate and maintain relationships with suppliers for optimal pricing and timely material delivery.

16. Budget management for the machine shop, controlling costs and ensuring financial targets are met.

**Qualifications**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

2. Proven experience in a managerial role within a machine shop or manufacturing environment.

3. Strong knowledge of machining processes, CNC programming, and equipment.

4. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

5. Solid understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

6. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and implement improvements.

7. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

8. Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for production planning and inventory management.

9. Problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

10. Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
