Maritime Sales Director for Sonar Solutions

Kongsberg Maritime, a leading global technology company, is seeking an experienced Sales Director to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity involves leading the sales efforts for our Imaging and Monitoring Sonars division, reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, Marine Life Technology. You will be at the forefront of shaping strategic initiatives and driving global sales efforts, working closely with a dedicated sales team.
- Lead the global IMO sales team and develop sales and pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Actively engage in sales efforts, representing the company effectively, including product demonstrations, preparing quotations, and managing contract negotiations.
- Build and maintain customer relationships for high satisfaction and collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve sales objectives.
We are looking for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in successfully leading and managing people, driving white-space sales, and leveraging external market representatives to expand our influence.
- Develop a go-to-market plan, including direct sales and channel management.
- Identify commercial opportunities and have a strong positive impact on business growth and profitability.
- Build a useful network of contacts and relationships and utilize it to achieve set goals.
The ideal candidate will possess fluency in oral and written English skills and experience in a matrixed organization, influencing direct and indirect sales teams. We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
