Automotive Wholesale Distribution Center is seeking an Inventory Controller for the Port Coquitlam BC Warehouse.

**Basic Functions**:
The purpose of the Inventory Controller position is to support the Branch Manager to ensure the effective operations of the warehouse. This is a multi-functional position which is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory efficiency. The primary function of this position will be Receiving, Inventory Control, Managing Claims, Stock Picking and Put Away..

**Organizational Structure**:
This position reports directly to the Branch Manager.

- Customers

**Nature and Scope**:
This is a full-time position with the typical hours being Monday to Friday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Occasional flexibility in hours may be required for inventory counts, special projects, meetings and committee industry functions, which may occur outside of these regular hours. The nature of the basic function of this job requires a standard understanding of company operations, policies and procedures and computer functionality. In this position you will be required to:

- Build familiarity with all products and services offered.
- Follow all corporate policies and procedures.
- Oversee Receiving of all product.
- Picking and Put away of product.
- Processing Claims and Damages
- Inspecting and approving returned product.

**Required Skills**:

- Wholesale Distribution background
- Receiving and Inventory Control experience
- Strong communicator with interpersonal skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Forklift Experience
- Class 5 Drivers license
