- ** JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:

- Greet patients and families with a friendly and welcoming demeanor, creating a positive first impression.
- ** Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently, considering the specific needs of pediatric patients**.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- ** Assist in verifying insurance coverage, processing insurance claims, and coordinating billing procedures.**:

- Handle phone inquiries, addressing questions and concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized reception and waiting area, creating a child-friendly and comfortable atmosphere.
- Assist in managing office supplies, inventory, and ordering as needed.

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- ** 1-2 years of experience is required as an Administrative Assistant**:

- Completion of a Dental Administration Program/Certificate is preferred
- Experience with dental practice management software such as Open Dental and Recall Max is considered an asset
- ** Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and manage schedules.**:

- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
- Customer service mindset
