We are looking for a Configuration Manager who will interact with Clients, Engineering, Quality Assurance and Program Management staff and serve as their primary interface for product and process documentation control. The Configuration Manager will be responsible for managing all customer documentation and Bills of Materials, as well as company process documentation according to established company procedures. The Configuration Manager will also participate in implementing new processes / software for BOM management, material and labour quotes.

**Fonctions Principales/**_**Essential functions**_
- Create and update labour quotes.
- Set up product Bills of Materials in the MRP System.
- Import customer data into the MRP for use by various departments.
- Manage product checklist for accuracy, completeness and gaps and work with engineering teams to correct structures to resolve.
- Interface with customers and management to solve documentation and production issues.
- Manage implementation of engineering change orders, process change orders and/or material change orders including generating impact statements and coordinate with affected functional groups.
- Maintain Internal ISO and External Customer Documents Controlled Documents/Data.
- Maintain an existing, extensive online documentation filing system (maintenance, archiving, obsolescence, and auditing).
- Extensive use of CAD, viewing, editing software to modify and create production documentation as necessary.
- Perform other duties as required.

**Exigences du poste/Position Qualification**
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage document control systems.
- Demonstrates advanced proficiency in MS Office Applications/Programs (ex. Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet).
- Advanced understanding of Siemens eMES, Unicam, FX and CAM350.
- Thorough understanding of a larger enterprise ERP system.
- Excellent Knowledge of electronic assembly and documentation.
- Production and Operations experience will be considered as a definite asset.
- Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the EMS industry.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- High degree of independent decision making, resolution skills and strong problem identification skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Familiarity with ISO procedures, experience working in an ISO9001/AS9100 electronics manufacturing environment would be an asset.
- Strong team player.
- **Education and Experience**_
- College degree or suitable technical qualification/experience or equivalent, preferably in manufacturing/engineering environment.
- A minimum of 7 years in Electronics or related manufacturing experience in a Document Control Role.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English. Spoken and written French is an asset.
