We are currently seeking a Part-time **Student Services Assistant** to join our growing team
**About the Role**:
The Admissions Assistant provides vital administrative support to the Admissions team. This role is essential for managing time-consuming tasks, including administrative duties, data sourcing, and logístical coordination. The Assistant ensures smooth operations and supports various administrative functions to student our **Program Registrar and Financial Aid Teams**
**Program Registrar Team Administrative Support**:
- Notify applicants of any missing/incomplete documentation;
- Enter new applicant information into SAS;
- Enroll new students on SAS; print and sign enrollment documents and process;
- Keep track of returned enrollment documentation, follow-up on missing items;
- Create student files for new class starts;
- Set up applicants for testing;
- Follow up with new inquiries and previous inquiries;
- Assist with planning and organizing Orientation weekend including ordering food, preparing Student ID Cards, putting together Information/Swag packages, and booking instructor accommodations;
- Prepare reports, letters, correspondence as needed;
- Filing and other general administrative duties.
**Financial Aid Team Administrative Support**:
- Initial prompt communication with new applicants providing payment plans and student loan information;
- Keep Hubspot & SAS notes up to date regarding beginning stages of financial aid process;
- Answering general payment & student loan questions;
- Entering student loan and payment plan information into SAS and Virtual Merchant;
- Assist with organizing new files and tracking missing files;
- Updating necessary documents as needed with annual changes, or start/pricing changes;
- Data witnessing;
- Assist with filing and other general administrative duties.
**Other Duties**:
- Available on occasional weekends for orientations.
- Attends staff meetings, in-service training and graduation ceremonies.
**Qualifications**
High school diploma (Administrative/Business certificate or diploma preferred)
- Previous customer service and/or administrative experience
- Understanding of business fundamentals and ability to create processes and procedures to manage information, people, projects, etc. as required
- Intermediate computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $38,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
