**_(Temporary, Full-Time)_**:

The West Vancouver Permits & Inspections Department is currently seeking a temporary full-time Permits Clerk to perform a variety of clerical support duties.
- Maintaining files and records related to the work; and
- Other related duties as required.

Desirable training and experience includes:

- Completion of Grade 12, supplemented by post secondary courses/certificates in office administration;
- Customer service experience preferably in a public sector environment;
- Experience and/or training in computer and word processing systems and data base maintenance;
- Experience with Prospero Land or equivalent electronic permit tracking system would be considered an asset;
- Familiarity with building permits processes and construction terms and stages would be considered an asset;
- Ability to read architectural plans would be considered an asset; and
- Familiarity with bylaws and regulations such as zoning and/or building regulations would be considered an asset.

- 35 hours per week (hours and days of work may vary)- Rate of Pay:
$29.11 per hour plus 12% in lieu of benefits
