- **About the Role**_
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the **Warehouse Assistant/General Laborer **role is responsible for supporting the best practices and processes for efficient company operation by receiving and fulfilling orders and delivering products to customer sites.
This position requires a team-oriented individual with organizational and communication skills to work effectively with internal team members to ensure inventory is received and fulfilled within the specified timeframe and guidelines in an efficient manner.

- Receive vendor shipments both physically and in the ERP system.
- Ship parcels and products.
- Pick/fulfill and stage products based on production requirements.
- Perform some building maintenance.
- Deliver products to/from customer locations.
- Ensures compliance with Health & Safety procedures and policies.
- Interface with external/internal clients, manufacturers and vendors as needed.
- Maintain and file all records, reports, and other documents as required.
- Recognize and escalate deeper and more complex issues when necessary or other appropriate personnel.
- Comply with all safe work practices and technical standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned based upon business need.
- **About You**_
- 2 years of relevant working experience in a warehouse or inventory setting.
- Must have valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Must pass background check and pre-employment screenings.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Operation of ticket-based ERP systems.
- Proficient working skills with Microsoft Office Products.
- Sitting, standing, stooping, and bending for long or extended periods of time.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools and to handle other office equipment.
- Ability to think and work independently with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and transport moderately heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds).
- Forklift certification an asset.
