ABOUT THE ROLE

The Accounting Intern will gain hands-on experience with preparing journal entries, support documentation, analyzing and reconciling GL Accounts. The intern will receive exposure and experience using our ERP system and will be exposed to our financial close processes and internal and external audit requirements.

Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following:

- Assist with preparation of journal entries and maintenance of proper supporting documentations
- Assist the accounting team with the monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings
- Assist with bank and other balance sheet reconciliation process
- Assist with internal and external audit requirements
- Assist with preparation of government surveys and annual reports
- Ad hoc analysis and special projects as required

ABOUT YOU
- Pursuing an Accounting/Finance or Business degree
- Proficiency with excel a must
- Excellent oral, written, presentation and communication skills needed
- Planning and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously
- Ability to manage deadlines
