You are a seasoned, bilingual copywriter who creates thoughtful, engaging communications for various audiences and enjoy translating copy. You are a talented editor, excel at creating a wide variety of content and are a skilled wordsmith. You can turn product specs, technical documentation, and brand messaging into written pieces that either move the reader to action, evoke emotion or provide clear and concise direction in both of your mastered languages.

**THE ROLE***:

- Plan, research and create unique campaign concepts and content ideas that are interesting and relevant to a B2B audience.
- Collaborate to create, maintain and execute a content calendar that supports the overall marketing and content strategy.
- Get to know the customer and user personas as well as the HCM space in order to connect with target audiences.
- Create memorable headlines, taglines, and product descriptions that catch the attention of target audiences, while remaining on brand and aligned with overarching marketing objectives.
- Transform complex, abstract, or technical ideas into clear and engaging copy.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to brainstorm on and produce creative communication pieces.
- Work with the digital marketing team to ensure writing style is SEO friendly with compelling headlines and calls-to-action.
- Ensure all communication is edited for proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and overall tone while telling Payworks’ brand story in an authentic and engaging way.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE***:

- Degree, diploma or certificate in: Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism or related field
- 3+ years of experience producing written content for a variety of platforms, preferably within a B2B environment
- Ability to effectively move between a variety of copywriting styles including technical, digital, journalistic, corporate, creative and ad copy
- Proficiency working in Adobe InDesign and the Microsoft Office Suite
- A love for branding, content strategy, and writing for many different media
- Bilingual (French) is a requirement
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; articulate and skilled at story-telling

The Communications Specialist and Translator reports into the Payworks office in Winnipeg, however has the option to work remotely, in the office or on a hybrid work model.
