Marketing and Communications Specialist

**The Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Communications _
- Develops and implements communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products
- Supports the coordination of public relations to ensure the organization's reputation is upheld
- Supports communications projects in the areas of advertising and promotional programs, public relations, and events.
- Be a champion of Activate's brand and ensure brand standards are met across the organization.
- Marketing_
- Collaborate on the company's overall creative content marketing strategy based on specific goals and objectives
- Create and maintain strong and effective online company voice through social media, developing and producing content including the customer e-communications journey
- Drives traffic and engagement that translates to sales and brand promotion through SEO and other strategies
- Effectively overseeing, monitoring, and analyzing the performance of several digital channels, including industry trends
- Storyboard, and generate new concepts quickly based on management direction and self-driven research for print/digital/video production
- Working with in-house developers on design aspects of the company website

**The Qualifications**:

- Excellent oral and written communication skills which enable the digital media specialist to communicate with various audiences
- 3-5 years of proven work experience in digital marketing and/or marketing roles
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
- Ability to be calm and understand the work process of others, and to be a team player
- Sound knowledge of Google Drive and creative software, including Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, In Design, Photoshop, Lightroom, Acrobat, Premiere, Flash, Bridge, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects), and/or Canva
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communication, Digital Media, or relevant field
