**Administrative Assistant**

The Regional Development Network (RDN) is a provincial non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the socio-economic development of English-speaking communities across the province of Quebec. Supported by a network of regional English-language organizations, RDN collaborates with federal, provincial and local governments to represent needs and challenges and create projects and partnerships.

**Duties to include**:

- Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and the organization;
- Organize board meetings, take minutes and manage communications with the Board of Directors;
- Support RDN’s member organizations;
- Assume accounting duties: journal entry, bank reconciliation, receivables, payables, etc.;
- Assist with meetings and conferences;
- Ensure the day-to-day operations of the office;
- All other tasks determined by the Executive Director.

**Requirements**:

- Minimal requirement of a DEC in administrative techniques or equivalent;
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role;
- Experience in event planning;
- Excellent written and spoken English and French;
- Strong administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills;
- Knowledge and experience with Simply Accounting;
- Excellent computer skills. MS Office and online meeting platforms such as Teams;
- Team player, detail-oriented, proactive and autonomous;
- The following would be considered assets: accounting skills and knowledge of Québec’s English-speaking community.

**Terms of employment**
- 35 hours per week
- Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
- The place of work is Québec City.

Le Réseau de Développement Régional (RDN) est un organisme provincial à but non lucratif qui se consacre à l'amélioration du développement socio-économique des communautés anglophones de la province de Québec. Soutenu par un réseau d'organisations régionales de langue anglaise, le RDN collabore avec les gouvernements fédéral, provincial et local pour représenter les besoins et les défis et créer des projets et des partenariats.

**Les tâches à accomplir sont les suivantes**:

- Fournir un soutien administratif à la directrice générale et à l'organisation ;
- Organiser les réunions du conseil d'administration, rédiger les procès-verbaux et gérer les communications avec le conseil d'administration ;
- Soutenir la directrice générale dans ses tâches administratives ;
- Soutenir les organisations membres du RDN ;
- Assumer les tâches comptables : entrée de journal, conciliation bancaire, comptes à recevoir, comptes à payer, etc. ;
- Aider à l'organisation de réunions et de conférences ;
- Assurer le fonctionnement quotidien du bureau ;
- Toutes les autres tâches déterminées par la directrice générale.

**Exigences**:

- Exigence mínimale d'un DEC en techniques administratives ou équivalent ;
- Un minimum de 2 ans d'expérience dans un rôle administratif ;
- Expérience dans la planification d'événements ;
- Excellente maîtrise de l'anglais et du français à l'écrit et à l'oral ;
- Solides compétences administratives, organisationnelles et interpersonnelles ;
- Connaissance et expérience avec Simply Accounting ;
- Excellentes compétences informatiques. MS Office et les plateformes de réunion en ligne telles que Teams ;
- Esprit d'équipe, orienté-e vers les détails, proactif-ve et autonome ;
- Les éléments suivants seraient considérés comme des atouts : compétences en comptabilité et connaissance de la communauté anglophone du Québec.

**Conditions d'emploi**
- 35 heures par semaine
- Le salaire est proportionnel aux qualifications et à l'expérience.
- Du travail de soir et de fin de semaine peut être exigé occasionnellement.
- Le lieu de travail est la Ville de Québec.
