Caterer - Team Leader

Arbor Memorial Services Inc is looking for a mature, responsible, energetic and passionate kitchen manager to lead our catering kitchen team. The menu consists of various medium to large scale event options that require an experienced kitchen manager to execute prescribed recipes and ensure customer satisfaction. You will be reporting directly to the management team.
**Duties**:
- Lead kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards
- Train new kitchen employees on proper cooking techniques and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Execute the menu in accordance with provided specifications
- Write and manage kitchen schedules in accordance with labour budget
- Track weekly inventory and deliver food cost within budget
- Work with management team to accommodate special requests
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a kitchen leadership roll
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff
- Safe food handling certificate
- Experience with inventory and food costing
- Experience in costing and writing kitchen schedules
- Valid Manitoba driver’s license

**Summary**
In the role of Caterer - Team Leader, you will lead a team in providing exceptional food service and customer satisfaction. With core skills in food service, customer service, and food handling, you will oversee food preparation, serving, and ensure a positive dining experience. Your premium skills in restaurant experience, guest services, and hospitality will enhance the overall guest experience and contribute to the success of the team. Your relevant skills in food safety, bartending, and hotel experience will be valuable in maintaining high standards of service. Join our team and showcase your leadership abilities in a dynamic and rewarding culinary environment.
Pay: $47,800.00-$52,000.00 per year
