Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Catering and Accommodations Support Professional to join our team at East Coast Catering Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, as well as assisting with food handling and preparation.

Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in the daily operation of our accommodations and catering unit, prioritizing cleanliness and sanitation.
  2. Assist with food handling and preparation, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  3. Recognize and adhere to Health and Safety protocols as the primary concern in all projects and activities.
  4. Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional service and support to our clients.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will require:
  • Basic Survival Training (BST)
  • H2S Alive certification
  • Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Safety Regulations Awareness
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Training
  • 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Food Safe Certificate
  • First Aid certification

Preferred Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a background in food handling and preparation is an asset. Additionally, experience in camp kitchen settings and strong people skills are highly valued.
