Credential Financial Strategies Inc. (“CFS”) is a wealth management program that specializes in insurance and other financial products and services. In partnership with **Synergy Credit Union**, CFS presently has an opening for an Associate Advisor/Coordinator.

**Job Overview**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Meeting with clients to review their accounts and identifying opportunities that successfully meets the members needs and planting seeds for future product/services and follow-ups.
- Preparing presentations and social media content for advisors
- Assisting with the development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategies, and other initiatives designed to improve performance.
- Participating in strategic planning meetings, planning events, or other activities to support company goals and objectives.
- Assisting in building the relationship with credit union management and staff.
- Conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing reports on relevant topics.
- Completing activities aligned with legislation and compliance regulations.
- Performing other related duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- High school graduate supplemented with post-secondary education in an office careers program.
- Minimum two years of experience as an assistant in an office environment dealing with internal and external contacts.
- General investment and insurance industry knowledge and awareness of the Canadian Credit Union System is an asset.
- Demonstrated skills include: excellent telephone and organizational skills, excellent typing and grammar skills combined with strong interpersonal and verbal communications skills.
- Experience with working with all major types of office equipment.
- Familiar with personal computers and a full range of knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Customer service orientation
- Effective communication and cooperation with all internal employees, Credit Union members and professional contacts.
- Teamwork spirit
