**Major Responsibilities**- Assists in site inspections and surveys. Takes photos. Delivers notices. Records data.- Assists with marking and measuring.- Assists with collecting, organizing and presenting of information/field notes/sketches/reports from field investigations and site visits.- Enters data on various systems.- Assists with maintaining equipment.- Assists in performing technical tests.- Assists with collecting samples for others to analyze.- Assists with indexing, searching, retrieving and filing of records.- Answers inquiries, provides general information, takes messages and directs inquiries to appropriate staff to answer questions/handle requests.- Travels to various locations.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in a discipline pertinent to the job function, or other relevant field, or an approved combination of education and experience.
- Experience in providing customer service to a broad range of stakeholders.
- Must possess and be able to maintain a valid Province of Ontario Class “G” Driver’s License and the ability to obtain a City driver's permit.

**You Must Also Have**:

- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service when dealing with the pubic.
- Ability to work flexible hours including overtime as required.
- Ability to travel to other City work locations as required.
