Are you passionate about local food culture? We’re Foodee, a team of food experts on a mission to connect local restaurants to businesses through our meal planning platform. We help corporations spread the power of good food by curating menus from top local restaurants and delivering them to your office.

We’re looking for a **Payroll Administrator **to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and managing employee compensation within the Foodee organization. Duties will include calculating wages, deducting taxes and benefits, issuing paychecks or direct deposits, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, you will handle inquiries from employees regarding payroll matters and maintain accurate records of payroll transactions.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Payroll**
- Process bi-weekly payroll for Canada and the US
- Post journal entries associated with each payroll
- Review and process employee expense reports
- Prepare and submit expense reimbursements to employees
- Manage the RRSP program
- Ensure benefits deductions are appropriately applied with payroll deductions
- Handle employee onboarding and offboard in ADP
- Prepare and post monthly payroll accruals
- Prepare and submit all payroll regulatory reports (ie WCB, EHT, etc)
- Assist in the preparation of T4 and other year-end statements
- Communicate, coordinate and answer payroll questions from various departments
- Other payroll related tasks as required

**Benefits**

- Conduct open enrolment and renewal planning for Extended Medical and Health Reimbursement offerings
- Communicate changes to benefits offerings to employees
- Manage relationship with Extended Medical brokers
- Provide reporting on benefits expenses relative to budget

**EXPERIENCE/SKILL-SET REQUIRED**:

- Two (2) years of payroll experience required
- Experience with both Excel and Google Sheets is an asset
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now is an asset
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across Finance and Human Resources departments Must be able to handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner

- Experience in SaaS, Start-up sized organizations Experience with BambooHR HRIS
