Our Distribution team works collaboratively with clients to develop and deliver solutions that meet their business needs. We create and manage the sales pipeline to achieve growth initiatives and retention targets for group sales, contributing significantly to sales and retention targets for the region. We manage relationships with group clients to achieve new business targets within budget objectives and increase participation within new and existing group accounts.

**How you will create impact**:

- Proactively seek opportunities to initiate and build new relationships in untapped markets and gain access to decision makers to keep the sales pipeline full.
- Build and maintain exceptional knowledge and understanding of current market trends, landscape, competitor product lines, pricing philosophy and sales techniques along with, developing strategic sales and marketing plans that align with our corporate strategy to group business.
- Consult, liaise, collaborate, and effectively manage relationships with other business units, as well as Advisors, establishing strong multi-level relationships at senior levels within assigned groups. Using strong persuasion and influence skills to be able to converse with, manage and sell C-Suite accounts.
- Coordinate, attend and participate in conferences/trade shows, on-site presentations, and other promotional events.
- Perform budget management tasks such as monitoring company performances against estimates. Prepare annual budget plan for approval for assigned groups. Accountable for budget line items for travel, sponsorship, meals and entertainment and advertising.
- Manage and execute marketing activities with larger assigned accounts including onsites, distribution of promotional material and presentation of products and services.
- Coach and mentor to enhance other team members individual skills, knowledge or work performance.

**To join our team**:

- You have 6-9 years of experience in insurance, sales, or account management.
- You have post-secondary education in business, sales, or marketing or a related discipline.
- You have an (OTL) Other than Life License.
- You have strong technical skills with MicroStrategy, Microsoft Office Tools, BI Dossiers, Sales Force, Dynamics 365 and Policy Centre.
- Having or working towards a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation is an asset.
- Fluent in English, French would be an asset.

- Extended work hours, including weekends, may be required.
- You are required to have our own vehicle, valid driver’s license and insurance.
