**Our Project**

Announced at the 2021 Game Awards, Inflexion Games is developing Nightingale - a
**new shared-world survival crafting and building game** coming to PC Early Access in

**Location of Role**

**Inflexion Games **studio is based in
**Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, or Quebec**.
**Edmonton, Montreal and Burnaby**-based team members are provided with a flexible hybrid work environment combining remote work-from-home and in-studio work arrangements. Fully remote positions are available for people based outside of Edmonton in British Columbia, Quebec or Ontario.

**Inflexion Games **is seeking a
**UI/UX Artist** to join our
**Player Experience team** and collaborate with the
**development, design, and graphic production of menus and interfaces**, to communicate the relevant information required to guide players and improve the
**overall player experience**.

**What you’ll do**:

- Design interfaces that are intuitive, effective, and visually appealing while fitting the aesthetic of the current project.
- Create various art assets for use across our interfaces and menus.
- Develop wireframes and mockups outlining user flows, as well as concepts for in-game menus.
- Maintain a consistent artistic standard for the entire interface of a project and respect brand guidelines in conjunction with the Art Director.

**What we’re looking for**:

- University or college diploma in graphic and multimedia design or relevant work experience
- Hands-on experience crafting UIs with UMG, Unreal Engine’s UI authoring framework
- Expertise with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD), or equivalent.
- A diverse portfolio showcasing examples of past UI work, attention for detail, and an appreciation for a diversity of styles
- Ability to clearly communicate and collaborate with other designers, artists and engineers to ensure delivery of the best possible User Experience.
- Understand and respect the technical constraints of the platform.

**We’d be excited to see**:

- Having previously shipped a game or app
- Experience creating UIs in other commercial game engines is a definite plus.
