**Position**: Buyer

**Location**: 8063 North Fraser Way, Burnaby, BC.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure optimal inventory levels for top-selling SKUs, particularly for our significant sales on Amazon.
- Accurate data entry in the ERP system, ensuring all product details, inventory levels, and purchasing data are up-to-date.
- Collaborate with the production manager to guarantee precise product spec sheets for each item.
- Regularly create purchase orders, negotiate pricing, and ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining product quality.
- Work closely with the logistics team to plan and ensure products arrive "just in time", minimizing warehouse storage duration.
- Update and manage projects on Asana, ensuring all tasks and projects are on track.
- Organize product samples for the development team.
- Collaborate with the product development team to identify and source new products within our categories.
- Analyze competitor data to uncover potential opportunities.
- Engage with our overseas team to discover and onboard new products.
- Familiarity with assembly builds, especially for our first aid and emergency kits, is a plus.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing.
- Experience working in an e-commerce company, with a focus on Amazon, is a significant advantage.
- A degree in purchasing or a related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with NetSuite ERP and its functionalities is a significant advantage.
