Salary

The base salary range for this role is $96,400 - $133,900 CAD per year. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and retirement plan to regular full-time employees.

Job Description

As a UI Engineer at Electronic Arts, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user interface components for our next-generation game and creative platform, Project Rene. You will work closely with designers, producers, artists, and other engineers to contribute to a shared vision for compelling UI/UX features. Your responsibilities will include writing quality code following project coding standards and established engineering practices, developing UI/UX prototypes, optimizing code for performance, and documenting designed and implemented components.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have 3+ years of programming experience, C++ experience, and an understanding of game design principles. You should also have experience with core UI principles, best practices, and accessibility, as well as experience prototyping and developing consumer-oriented UI systems. Strong communication abilities and experience with Unreal Engine are also required.
