**Richmond Presbyterian Church Administrator**

**Responsibilities**: To oversee the operation of the church office and assist the leadership teams with administrative and technical duties relating to worship and church programs.
- Co-ordinate with the Use of Facilities Committee regarding church facility use and scheduling. Ensure church calendar is accurate and up-to-date.
- Maintain congregational lists, directories and databases
- Prepare weekly content for Sunday morning for both in-house and livestream (bulletin, slideshow, etc.)
- Edit and upload Sunday service recording, sermons (incl.audio) to digital platforms.
- Ensure the most accurate and up-to-date information is displayed on our website and other digital and social media platforms
- Monitor, maintain and be familiar with the operation of all office equipment and technology
- Support leadership teams with administrative items as needed and be a liaison between church staff, congregation, outside user groups and contractors
- Provide hospitality services as needed
- Oversee the management of office and other general church supplies

**Requirements**:

- A personal faith consistent with the values of the reformed Christian tradition, with a willing attitude of Christian service
- Organized, detail oriented with strong writing and proof-reading skills
- Creative and innovative. Discovers new opportunities and solutions for problems by looking beyond current practices. Motivated to learn new skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other software and social media including MAC iMovie, Wordpress, Propresenter 6, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube (or willing to learn)
- Minimum of one year of office administration experience preferred
- Experience (paid or volunteer) working in a church congregational culture is an asset
- Must be a Canadian or permanent resident and legally entitled to work in Canada

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
