SOC Support Triage Representative Responsibilities
- Matching customer problem descriptions to eSentire’s guides, known issues, and FAQ’s. Gathering necessary technical data to begin support processes.
- Translate, create and assign support tickets to relevant ticket queues based on defined criteria and following appropriate SOC processes
- On/Off boarding of clients from internal tools and systems.
- Creating and Removing traffic whitelists for events coming into the SOC
- Configuration of client services including access to relevant portals/systems
- Proactively following up with clients on active/outstanding tickets as required to bring them to a successful resolution.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems, IT Management, IT Support or related discipline or 1+ years equivalent experience in a Customer/Technical support or IT Helpdesk environment.
- Hands on experience with an IT Service Management/Helpdesk system such ServiceNow or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
- Basic knowledge of Computer Networking, OSI model, TCP/UDP and IP Addressing
- Basic knowledge of IT Security principles.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task independently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality service.
- Experience in customer service/client relations, with knowledge of customer service principles and best practices.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively to individuals at various levels, both written and verbal.
- Natural ability to thrive in a fast-paced and time sensitive environment.
- Flexibility regarding working hours/days.

Nice to Have
- Experience working in technical support/helpdesk environment and working directly with external customers
- Interest in Cyber Security with foundational knowledge of network and endpoint security.
- Completed or pursuing relevant technical certifications such as CompTIA Network or Security+
- ITIL certification or training
