**Role**
- LD&A’s Accounting Assistant & Admin Support Person assists the Finance leader with all aspects of the Finance department. S/he has the ability to manage all aspects of accounts payable, receivable and payroll. The Accounting Assistant also supports LD&A Team members by completing tasks in a timely and proactive manner. S/he assists with office management and maintenance to present an organized, welcoming space to work & collaborate in.
- The Accounting Assistant presents a professional, respectful, positive and helpful attitude at all times when interacting with clients, trades and co-workers. S/he maintains the highest quality of services while administering good business practices.

**Educational and experience requirements include**:
**Skills and Abilities**
- Excellent computer skills including high proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and project management software (i.e. Buildertrend).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive; proficient in accomplishing tasks independently as well as within a team.
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
- High level of communication, documentation and follow-through skills.
- Regular reconciliation & invoicing of projects & services in company
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Strong time-management skills with ability to prioritize workload.
- Strong budgeting and cash management skills.
- Proven ability to understand and assist with employee payroll and company benefits administration as required.

**Working Conditions**
- Office-based, full-time work with some flexibility regarding travel for errands, company events, etc.

**Employment Requirements**
- A minimum 5 years of Accounting, Bookkeeping and/or Administrative experience.
- Quickbooks training is an asset.
- Customer Service industry experience is an asset.
- Experience in the Construction industry is an asset.

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
