HR Coordinator

We have an immediate opening for a **Human Resources Coordinator **to join our team. This role will be integral part of our Human Resources team, providing support on a variety of HR initiatives across multiple business units
Essential
**Responsibilities**:
- With assistance from HR Manager implement and provide guidance on Human Resources policies, programs, and practices
- Recruitment and selection of hourly and salaried roles
- Responsible for onboarding all new employees
- Administer the benefit programs for all employees
- Assist in employee training and development by identifying training needs for business units
- First point of contact for all employee inquiries such as payroll, vacation, benefits, etc.
- Administer performance review and management program
- Support managers to proactively address staffing, employee relations and training initiatives
- Process all biweekly payroll
- Ensure compliance to applicable legislation and company policies
To excel in this role, you must have a proven track record in an administrative / HR capacity working both independently and in a team environment.
You will have a strong ability to communicate with various stakeholders and maintain confidentiality on highly sensitive matters. You will be well organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Further requirements include:
- Post-secondary education (preferably HR or related discipline)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a HR support role
- Working towards pursuing a designation in Human Resources is an asset
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
