Ground Effects is looking for a **Production Scheduler **to assist Production in **Windsor, Ontario. **Ground Effects Ltd. has dedicated itself to excellence since 1986 and has evolved into a multi-faceted supplier of quality interior/exterior accessory components for the automotive industry and more. The Production Scheduler will plan and establish production schedules to meet customer demands. Develop production schedules in accordance with plant and employee capacity, and new business opportunities.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Ability to generate a plant production schedule for assigned GFX locations using customer demand against capacity data management analysis.
- Plant capacity planning for assigned GFX locations.
- Maximize efficiency through product change overs and product combinations.
- Ensure production planning is balanced to support product deliveries to all assigned GFX locations.
- Capacity analysis abilities to support overall capacity needs by each location.
- Review production floor output, for assigned facilities, to understand demand vs actual production demand.
- Main contact and liaison for all production scheduling needs for assigned GFX locations.
- Effective communication through assigned facilities.
- Review prior days production to ensure accuracy, quantity and labour efficiencies.
- Must be able to travel between GFX locations.Attend required GFX Capacity Planning meetings.
- Maintain accessibility to support afterhours and weekend production needs/concerns.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Grade 12 completion or equivalent.
- College Diploma or University Degree is preferred.
- 1 year in equivalent position or role.
- 3 plus years’ experience in a production scheduling position in a manufacturing environment; preferably automotive is a bonus.
- Computer literate - Lotus, Windows, MS Office Suite.
- Epicor/ERP.
- Must be team oriented.
- Must have a general understanding of IATF16949 requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and telephone experience is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task on a continual basis.
- Experience with Health and Safety and Ministry of Labour requirements and processes is preferred.
