Production Scheduler Expert

We are seeking an experienced Production Scheduler to join our team at Jamieson Laboratories. This role will be responsible for planning and scheduling production requirements to ensure customer satisfaction, inventory objectives, and operational efficiencies.

Job DescriptionThe Production Scheduler will be responsible for:
- Producing and issuing production schedules for packaging and bulk production on a weekly deadline.
- Finite scheduling of bulk/finished goods within agreed-upon finite horizons.
- Owning production finite schedules (manufacturing/packaging schedules).
- Analyzing planned capacity versus actual yield information and implementing advanced planning actions to ensure reliable weekly schedules and accurate MRP demand planning.
- Verifying and ensuring availability of materials required to meet production schedules on a daily basis by proactively analyzing and communicating regarding inventory position, lot expiration, quality status, and material movements.
- Understanding complex bills of materials and their impact on multiple operational functions.
- Participating in planning and execution opportunities for new product launches.
- Completing special projects and initiatives as assigned and within specified timeframes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A post-secondary education and APICS or other professional development certification.
- Two to four years' experience in a planning or inventory position, preferably in the consumer products industry.
- Demonstrated experience with MRPII systems and MS Office applications.
- Proven analytical and operational experience.
- Familiarity with GMP practices and the food and pharmaceutical industry.
- Ability to produce reports and schedules in a timely and accurate manner.
- Strong inter-personal, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Experience in both short-term and advanced planning processes.
- Innovative, adaptable, and motivated towards continuous improvement.
The estimated salary range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) matching program.
