Marketing & Communications Manager

**Position Overview**
Stallion is a technology-driven company that specializes in providing innovative shipping solutions tailored for the Canadian e-commerce market. As a Marketing & Communications Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, driving our digital presence, overseeing content creation, and ensuring effective internal and external communication strategies. Your expertise will be pivotal in shaping our brand perception and national growth.
This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted role that requires a blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and leadership skills to effectively position Stallion in the logistics/eCommerce market and achieve our business objectives.
**Key Areas of Responsibility**
- Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, setting clear goals and providing guidance, mentorship and support to foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability within the department.
- Possess strong people management skills to oversee hiring, training and development efforts within the department.
- Assist in creating compelling eCommerce content, including video tutorials, articles, blog posts, and infographics, to drive engagement and educate our target audience.
- Provide regular reports and insights to support data-driven decision-making processes, including utilizing analytics tools to track performance metrics such as engagement rates, conversion rates, and revenue generated.
- Oversee digital advertising campaigns across various platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, YouTube Ads).
- Lead the development of the marketing department analysis dashboard for KPIs and ROIs.
- Implement a news monitoring and crisis management system to track media coverage, industry trends, and competitor activities, ensuring timely responses and strategic alignment with marketing objectives.
**Qualifications**:
- Hands-on experience in eCommerce, logistics or a software company is a plus.
- Proven work experience in digital marketing and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns that drive business results.
- Integrated marketing experience, including paid, owned, and organic channels.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor a team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Creative thinker and a strong problem solver with the ability to lead the team to push the solution and progress.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
