We are currently seeking a dedicated Full-Time Parts Assistant to become an integral part of our parts department team. Key Responsibilities:
- Parts Delivery: Safely and efficiently deliver automotive parts to designated locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Customer Shuttle: Safely and efficiently drop off and pick up customers at home or work.
- Parts Counter: Look up parts for technicians, phone and counter customers.
- Organizing and Stocking: Receive incoming parts deliveries and meticulously organize and stock them in the appropriate areas.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock checks, and updating the inventory system.
- Order Processing: Aid in processing parts orders, including picking, packing, and preparing parts for shipment or customer pickup.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect parts for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure that the parts department, including storage and work areas, is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks as needed, such as data entry, filing, and answering phone calls.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a parts department required with Chrysler parts experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items. (Max. 75 lbs)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and be comfortable driving a full size pick up.
