Optical Assistant

**Kawartha Vision Care** is seeking a new optical assistant to help our support our staff and clients. Organizational skills and a team player attitude will be major assets in this position. It takes the right sales person to pair a client with the best frames, and lenses to suit their lifestyle.

We will provide training on site, so no previous optical experience is needed. That being said, you’ll need sales experience, **a* **strong familiarity with windows based software*, administrative and organizational skills.

You will be working 8 hour shifts weekdays and Saturday along side an Optician, Optometrist, and other qualified professionals on tasks like:

- Sales
- Book keeping
- Scheduling eye exams
- Filing
- Cleaning
- Computer work
- Contacting Clients
- Tracking inventory

This is intended to be a full time position, but is flexable for the right employee.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: From $16.55 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
