**Job Overview**:
The person chosen for the position will be in charge of managing small and medium scale events for the company. For example: service anniversary celebrations, support for the organization of BBQs, etc.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide administrative support for recognition activities to ensure the planning process runs smoothly and deliverables are met.
- Assist the Manager, Recognition Programs in producing and updating documents, such as inventories, implementation plans, directives and various reports and communications.
- Organization of events related to recognition.
- Regular follow-ups with stakeholders, suppliers and the manager, recognition programs
**Critical Qualifications**:
- Experience in event management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English and French)
- Ability to:
- Act promptly, take initiative, exercise judgment and work with mínimal supervision
- Work effectively with all levels of the hierarchy, demonstrating tact and diplomacy in all circumstances
- Being able to effectively and simultaneously carry out various complex projects tasks under pressure, as well as reporting results
- Establish priorities and manage conflicting deadlines.
- Great attention to detail and excellent organization skills
- Team spirit
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary diploma: An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
