The Head of Vendor Management is responsible for ensuring the efficiency of the company’s procurement and vendor management processes, including: developing and implementing a modern vendor management program with policies, standards, and procedures that are aligned with the company’s strategies and risk appetite; leading vendor selection and oversight; and developing standardized reporting to key stakeholders. **You’re great at**:

- Developing and implementing a modern enterprise-wide procurement and vendor management program, which incorporates the company’s strategies and risk appetite, as well as regulatory compliance obligations.
- Driving process and system changes to support prompt, accurate and consistent vendor management throughout the lifecycle of vendor arrangements.
- Leading vendor due diligence and selection processes, including working with internal stakeholders to establish clear objectives and requirements, product research, and cost analysis.
- Ensuring effective and efficient reporting of third-party spend and other vendor metrics to key stakeholders.
- Formulating business strategies to deliver cost savings based on strategic objectives and an overarching goal to be cost-efficient.

**You have**:

- 5+ years in complex contract negotiation.
- Experience leading a procurement team for a large organization, preferably a regulated financial institution.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing changes to procurement and vendor management strategies.
- Strong working knowledge of legal, compliance, IT and other requirements within contract negotiations and vendor management.
- Strong working knowledge of finance and accounting, including budgeting, cost management and operational risk management.
