**REPORTS TO**:
**EVP of the Alimak Group Construction Division and Construction Sales Director**

**JOB PURPOSE**:
The key purpose of this role is to increase revenue and profitability safely, within the Alimak's Construction Division through effective leadership and management of the Rental Operations, direct sales, parts, and service teams across Canada. This role is responsible for all the aspects of business development, leadership, order growth, revenue growth, account management and Construction Divisional P&L

**KEY TASKS**:
**Sales Strategy**
- Collaborate with Division Sales Director to develop and implement the sales strategy of the division ensuring this is in line with Division strategy and Overall Group strategy.
- Sales strategy and guidelines should include rules for quantifying customers to ensure the most profitable customers are given the most attention.
- Major project review and focus throughout the area to ensure an ALIMAK WIN, New, RENTAL through OWN REN or Partners, USED, Parts and SERVICES
- Ensure all new business complies with Division sales strategies and margins.
- Responsible for creation of supporting initiatives in the areas of revenue, costs, and people to enable achievement.
- Responsible for Account Management of existing customer base ensuring repeat business and ongoing service sales.

**Rental Operations**
- To lead and support the Rental Operations team.
- Drive a positive safety culture and ensure the Alimak's Zero Harm policy is adhered to.
- Budgeted EBIT targets are achieved.
- Management of appropriate Human Resources required to fulfill the service delivery.
- Close Management of required Capex to fulfill operational requirements.
- Agreed Customer Service Levels are Achieved.
- Target machine utilizations are met through managing projects, customers, and contracts effectively.
- Manage scope of works, scope of supply and all general contract conditions to minimize risk for the operations.

**Operations**
- Maintain and improve process efficiency for quality and environmental standards adherence.
- Updated Product Management and Division Operations on changing trends and requirements in the marketplace to ensure new product design is at forefront of the industry.
- Responsible for delivering customer feedback to factory for continuous improvement discussions.

**Financial Management**
- Accountable for collecting cash within plan and group guidelines.
- Accountable for writing business which is within all financial guidelines of the organization.
- Accountable for contract establishment, all contracts written within company guidelines or escalated for approval, outlining risks and mitigation strategies.
- Report monthly on lag KPI's (what happened) and lead KPI's (what will happen)
- Submission of 6-month Order Intake forecasts, providing variance analysis.
- Accountable to work within Delegation of Authorities
- Compliant with policies, systems, and procedures. E.g., Expense and Travel, Vehicle, Phone, Laptop policies etc.

**People Management**
- Participate as a positive and active team player with peers, direct and indirect reports.
- Responsible for self-development & continuing personal development.
- Support and guide the local Rental Operational and Sales team when and where required and applicable to Key Accounts in that region with a view to securing orders and maintaining good governance.

**Accountability**
- Accountable for the coordination of the Division Distributors through Local Sales Company and Sales Resources to ensure group policies are met.
- Accountable for increasing revenue and profitability into the Construction market in the region via the Distributors and Major Accounts Identified

**Extend of Authority**
- Authority to make decisions under guidance of Sales Director and the delegation of Authority for (Division)
