Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Manager of Internal Communications will help co-create our internal communications strategy in alignment with our business objectives. This individual will work strategically across multiple stakeholder groups to develop organizational narratives and deliver them to our target audiences using various approaches and engagement tactics. This individual will also be responsible for building communication programs that promote employee engagement and retention, while measuring and evaluating their success and influence.

Your job

**Your Role**:

- Partner with key stakeholders to develop an integrated view of internal communications programming and messaging to ensure a strategic and coordinated approach to employee communications.
- Develop new internal programming that furthers employee engagement, strengthens the Munich Re culture, fosters connections across teams and enables employees to action our company Purpose through philanthropic initiatives.
- Research and develop engaging content using a variety of tactics (videos, podcasts, visuals) for our company intranet that increases leader visibility and showcases our products, services, people and culture.
- Partner with senior leaders and HR to develop written messages regarding executive personnel and operational changes and other strategic company-wide messages.
- Execute the content strategy for our new digital signage program, develop engaging content to display on our screens to promote important campaigns and showcase company culture.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups, including our Social Committees, to develop communications plans and messages to engage colleagues in key programs and engagement initiatives.
- Manage the leader engagement schedule and partner with senior leaders to build thoughtful meeting agendas and produce regular town halls and leader forums.
- Organize monthly all employee newsletters for the US and CA.
- Oversee our Intranet channels, ensuring an optimal user experience for employees.

**Your Profile**:

- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing or communications, or equivalent professional work experience with demonstrated success
- Over 8 years of experience in internal communication; superior writing and editing skills
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a strong ability to work across various groups and personalities
- Strategic mindset with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
- Knowledge of current and emerging employee communication tools
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)
