Join our team as an Human Resources Manager in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be a pivotal force in our manufacturing operations, overseeing HR functions critical to our growth. Your diverse experience will be instrumental in shaping our workplace, fostering an engaged workforce, and ensuring compliance with standards in employment, safety, environmental, payroll, and corporate governance.

**Job Summary**:
The Human Resources Manager oversees the operations of human resources, and develops and implements policies, programs and procedures regarding human resource planning, recruitment, training and development, occupation classification and payroll and benefit administration, facilities, travel & accommodations, immigration and all legal matters pertaining to HR and public relations. The Human Resources Manager represents management and participates actively on various joint committees to maintain ongoing relations between management and employees. Oversee health, safety and environmental programs for compliance.

**Reports to**: General Manager (Plant)

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in human resource, business or related.
- 3+ years of human resource management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- CHRP designation preferred.
- Knowledgeable in employment, safety and environmental regulations.
- Effective decision-making and problem solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee recruiting, evaluation, selection, and placement of new associates
- Manage payroll, HR and benefits process and systems
- Liaise with government agencies, health-provider companies, and other related outside suppliers
- Design, coordinate, and implement associate-management relations strategies
- Oversee associate recordkeeping
- Provide related human resource counsel
- Administer associate relations activities
- Compliance in corporate governance and J-SOX
- Oversee health and safety, environmental and security programs
- Member of the Health & Safety Committee and ISO internal auditor (14001)
- Perform related duties as required
- Attend annual health and safety training including (but not limited to) WHMIS, and Incident Reporting
