Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Create personalized lesson plans and teaching materials based on the individual needs of each student
  • Assist students in understanding difficult concepts and improving their academic performance
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance the learning experience
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents or guardians
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop strategies for student success
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress
  • Experience working with children or students in an educational setting
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Patience and empathy when working with students who may be struggling academically
  • Excellent organizational skills to track student progress and manage multiple tutoring sessions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (preferred)
  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with computerized learning platforms is a plus
  • Special education experience is an asset

Job Type:
Part-time

Salary:
From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 2 per week
