**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Develop the business development strategy in collaboration with the senior leadership team.
- Contribute marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews to achieve business development objectives.
- Build, lead, manage, and hold the Business Development team accountable.
- Develop and maintain a customized sales process.
- Build and maintain rapport with key accounts, leading to growth of current contracts and identifying new opportunities.
- Manage the selling process and achieve metrics aligned with the company's growth strategies.
- Act as the Company's Brand Ambassador by enhancing the company's brand presence through website, presentations, social media, advertising, and customer relations.
- Maintain the company's goal setting process and conduct regular reviews with direct reports.
- Maintain or exceed set metrics including weekly gross margin quoted, weekly gross margin won, new PM gross margin quoted, new PM gross margin won, and existing client gross margin growth.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in strategizing and building a Business Development team.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and coaching teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is considered an asset.
- Experience in the mechanical, electrical, and automation industry is considered an asset.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Clean Criminal Record.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the commercial building services industry.
- Proven track record of success in developing and closing new business opportunities.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and opportunities.
- Ability to travel as needed.
